Well an update to my previous blog, the medication has certanly started to work - Result!!! One of the other things that has come to my atention whilst being away for a while is the lack of you gilrs posting night out pictures and telling Transtastic about your trials and tribulations of all things Trans!  This wonderful world that we live in, come on girls - get yourselves out (for real) and don't sit there behind your computer -  you have the cover of darkness now for the next few months and what a fabulous way to take those delicate steps out of the those four walls for the first time and enjoy that breeze that flows up your skirt and along those nylon clad legs!  Yes that is real - and for the most of you out there along with myself it's one the most sensual feelings to experience whilst out (God that feeling) - once you have felt it, trust me there's no going back!  Checkout the events page on here for upcoming nights out, there is a perfect opportunity in December coming up - http://www.transtastic.com/se4/event/802#.VjXpGbfhC00 Now if this isn't a perfect opportunity, then I really don't know what is?  Hugs and wishes  Liz x

Hello all,  Well I thought I'd just give you a brief update on my absence from the site. The past six weeks have been a knightmare for me, my troublesome knee has been playing me up somewhat. Although I have kept my work commitments up, everything else has taken a step back, even my ongoing work in my daughters garden along with all things Trans!  Having been diagnoised with chronic gout in my knee, which I never knew you could get here, but my Doctor tells me you can get gout in any joint, this is caused by crystallization of the fluid and the uric acid levels within your blood. Certain foods can increase the uric acid levels, fresh tomato, mushrooms, any dark green vegetables, so eating healthtly like I do is not always the best practice, along with red wine, real beer ect... can contribute to the ailment. Six weeks of sleep deprivation has not been the best also, but now having new medication, along with extra suppliments and also I've recently read that cherry juice fights uric acid in a good way, I seem to be on my way to being mobile again and a more approchable pearson once again. So here I am again,  Best wishes to you all  Elizabeth (Liz) x

Ok I know this blog isn't full of cock shots and all things kinky - but hey it is a little different! Yesterday myself and Shar went to a wedding reception and in my moment of madness I said "fuck it I'm going in girlie mode". So I started getting ready to the amusement of Shar, saying people won't know where to look, anyway I got ready and off we went, presant in hand. I wasn't feeling nervous, just good to be getting out again, although in a very straight and normal atmosphere. We arrived and I walk straight in greeted Sammy the bride and her new husband, to her amazement it was me Ian - but Liz! Having a mingle with the muggels and a chat to work colleagues, to my amazement no one actually read me apart from my work mates, who knew about Liz but had never actually met for real, apart from my ill fitting shoes being to big - yes to big I had a pleasant evening and it was a change from the norm! The moral to my blog is, if you dress with right attitude then why can't all of you lovely girls get out there and burst the bubble! Till next time, Hugs Liz x

Well it has been a while... Ok, I know it has taken me a while to write about this years Sparkle, but i have been busy!  Anyway, this year for me was a little different in a couple of ways. Firstly, I had finally decided to do a little bit of volunteering, well it was about time I started to give a bit back again. I had said that i was fit enough to pick the odd bit of litter up here and there and basically do anything else that needed doing.  I helped out at Piccadilly Station doing the meet and greet's on Friday as all the lovely folk arrived throught the afternoon, and meeting Kellie Malony was a pleasure! Not only that, but also raising the Trans* community with the muggles, and to be fair I really had no negativity at all. I and my collegues Jane, Ruth, Jenn, Becks and the lovely PCSO who joned us, had quite an eventful afternoon, although my feet were killing after standing on the concrete concorse all afternoon. Back to the Hotel for a freshen up and off out to see what was going on in and around the Village, which once again, was the home to this years Sparkle. Meeting a few girls along the way, I also met a few new girls and guys and for some reason, I was getting far more attention than normal this year. I'm famous lol. I think the last 12 months or so I've come out my shell more and tend to speak to far more people than I would of normally have done.  Friday night is always one of my favourite nights, but this year I had to be in early, I had arranged to be in the park for 07:30 yes half seven on Saturday morning, to help our lovely Amy Michelle set up the big screen in the park on the main stage. Why oh why did I say I would help? #givingsomethingback We had the screen built pretty quick, then off to do other things around the park, which was a new experiance for me being on the other side of things. I spent the most of Saturday in drab, this was my sacrifice, I knew there was going to be so much to do and being dressed for me simply wasn't an optioin. I had been given the grand title of Deputy Park Manager (I think), But it was an experiance to say the least, I can honestly say that I got a buzz from making sure things were going ok throught the day and of course, each and everyone of your wonderful people was having a wonderful time at Sparkle! "No mention of Jingle Bells Either"!  It was around 10pm when I finally got back out to enjoy the Saturday night events, In flats might I add, I had worn trainers all day, but my feet were aching like hell!  Sunday was going to be my day, Time to party! I spent most of the day in the park Listening to the fabulous line up on stage and enjoying the social side of things, and also getting many selfies!  I said earlier that there was a couple of reasons this year was different to me,  this year my daughter Hannah, her partner Jordan and my wonderful grandchildren joined me at Sparkle, "Ma boys" were born at Sparkle two years ago and this was their first Sparkle. I can't include pictures of them on here because this is an adult site, but those of you who know me will see that they have pride and place on my FB profile. Charlie and George the Sparkle babies will be back!  Anyway, enough of me waffling on, but I will say that this year's Sparkle saw an amazing 10,000+ visitors, which is an absoulte awesome feet, and together with people like you will only grow and grow, So on that, I'll sign off and look forward to seeing more of you next year at  Hugs Liz xxx

Well today has been somewhat different for me, not only was it my mum's Birthday, but i also took her into The Village for a few drinks this afternoon and then onto velvet for a lovely Birthday meal, I had been promising to take her into Manchester for a long time - So I thought why not!  And yes before you ask, i was in girlie mode. Mum has known about Liz for quite a while now and is very comfortable with the Trans side of me and is always asking if I've bought any new clothes, and most of all hates how good my legs look! I chat to my mum everyday whether that is by text or a phone call, i always do, the thing is my mum like all of your parents and those close to you are not getting any younger, you should always grab the chance to speak to them whenever you can and spend as much time as you can with them. OK today was not the usual party atmosphere that we are accustomed to when we pop into the village on a Saturday, but more of a qualitiy precious time spent chatting in a relaxed environment with the woman who brought me into this world, helping "MUM" celebrate her birthday with Liz and not Ian.  Her words to me as I've just dropped her off at home " I have loved every second of today" like i said quality time.    Myself and Mum in Paddy's  And Mum enjoying another Cider in Via. So folks, wht not get yourselves off out and enjoy the preicous time while you can, you never know what's round the corner. Hugs  Liz and Marion (Mum) x

Well the mornings are getting brighter and the evening are staying lighter which only means one thing - Spring is on it's way!  The point I'm making is the for alot of you girls your losing the cover of darkness, to wonder out and be who you want to be. Well why not blossom this spring with all the lovely flowers that are already out, hold your heads high and be who you want to be in day light, who needs the cover of darkness. We all have our bad days when we can't quite get things right, but with help and support from sites like Transtastic, this gives you access to different going's on all over the place and with banners advertising makeovers and photography sessions, some very interesting bloggs on how to do your make up, so why not get yourselves made over and get out - don't wait until the Autum !  Happy blossoming  Liz x

Well i was supposed to write this yesterday, but i really did fall asleep! Anyway here we go, Saturday the 7th was finally upon us, after months of trying to put it together, we did it!  After a bit of a mix up in the tea rooms, we moved to Via for welcoming drinks, Pauline stayed at the tearooms to point any late comers towards Via. We headed off around one making sure everyone was happy, so if you think of Reservoir dogs soundtrack (little green bag i believe) along canal street we headed out of the village for our photo shoot, Manchester watch out, were on our way!  Being the first time i had organised anything like this before, i had no idea how the day was going evolve, but to my surprise it evolved quite well. We headed up Chorlton street on to Portland into Piccadilly Gardens. Trines and Debbie leading the way. Well all know the new 50 shades of grey movie is out soon, but even the sheep look on as Gemma treated everyone to the whole V3 experiance!  Born this way? Many of us are indeed, and Amy Michelle is well and truly born that way, it was nice to see her out again, doing what she does best - hogging the bloomin camera!  Dee really wanted to get her boobs out, just like the statue, but we persuaded her not to it really was to cold! So after a while walking around the gardens taking in the lovely Manchester sights, a trip into Debenhams then on for a spot of lunch in the northan quarter then off to the Arndale then into Selfridges, then heading back to Paddys in the Village. Like i said earlier, I've never done anything like this before, one thing that has made me realise is that very few people actually read you, ok you may get the the odd stare, but everyone just walk's on by.  Being in the presence of some really awesome people helped of course, but if i could offer any advice to anyone out there, just go and do it - there's nothing to be ashamed of, you are who you are, be who you want to be in the real world and not just behind a computer screen. Until the next one!  Hugs The New Faces of Transtastic x Photo's published with the kind permission of Caroline x
