Thankyou for all the comments on my recent blog and debbie i have showered lol   having spoke to my friend again i just feel this needed to be blogged xxx   "It would seem that the general opinion of the majority of users on this site is that as soon as a girl undergoes GRS she forgets her roots and friends and walks away from her past and friends and in some cases that is true.   However, it is unfair to paint all girls with the same brush just as it’s unfair for everyone to think that all the girls on here whether TV or TS are all cock hungry and only here for sex, which as we all know is certainly not the case.   In the case of my friend who has just left, she has regularly posted about what she does and has commented on other posts by way of advice to girls looking to “come out” to loved ones or to those starting out on the journey to full transition.   She has many TV and TS (both M to F and F to M) friends across the length and breadth of the UK who she keeps in touch with online and meets regularly.   She mentors TV girls and helps to encourage them to make that extra effort as well as inviting them to club nights to get them out the door and meeting people.   She also mentors TS girls to help them in the early stages of transition, whether it is taking them out shopping, for lunch or a coffee, clubs and next week is going to her local gender clinic as support for a new girl having her first appointment with the psychiatrists.   She is an advocate for Equal Rights having in the past been a Liaison Officer with her local police force, a role that came out of her having worked with the Equality and Human Rights Commission post surgery until she started proceedings against them for discrimination (she won her case).   In her role as a Liaison Officer with the Police, she would be called at all hours of the day and night to attend incidents if a Trans girl was attacked, to ensure that all protocols were observed and the girl was treated with respect by all concerned and that she received the support needed at the time during and after the incident.   OK, she doesn’t go to Lacy ladies, or Sparkle or even her local Pride events (which she used to help organize) but that doesn’t make her any less of a Trans Girl than any other person on this site just because she is a Post Op. She is still actively involved in support work but prefers to do it quietly rather than standing on some kind of political soap box which people seem to want to do in here.   What we have lost here, in my opinion is the type of girl that sites such as this need after all at one time this girl thought she was a TV, but after being assessed and coming to terms with who she was, it turned out she was actually TS and now that she is Post Op she is a lot happier than she has ever been at any time in her life and has so much invaluable experience and advice to offer those coming along behind.   She is gone now though, due to the attitude of people on here and that for me is the saddest part of it all"   thanx again for reading xxxx   and remember we should all be helping each other granted we are all different but together in what we are and its is hard enough when the world wont accept us when we dont accept each other  well ............................   peace love and lipgloss xxxxx   xxamyxx

Is it me?   Well not sure how to put this but here goes. Is it me or does anyone else feel that those who have gone through the full transition Don’t feel they fit in any more I have had 2 friends who have had the full transition and have left here Due to the way they are spoken to and both have a gone through what a lot of us are aiming to do And have great advice and are both counselling other trans girls in different stages of the journey I know they do as I do think in some way this fabulous site has taken a turn to more Fetish Cross Dressing which yes is all part of the trans scene in ways. 50 shades of grey doesn’t cut it here it’s more like 500 shades of grey lol But I do feel upset that friends and other post op girls who yes are now women feel they don’t belong I do say live and let live for all walks of life but it does come to a shock in ways to me that We have in a word discrimination against each other here Why can’t we all get along I have said before in the immortal words of high school musical   “We’re all in this together” so let’s start being united in what we do To quote a friend who has left “Peace love and lip gloss” Hugs xxamyxx

HOW IS NORMA?This is hilarious !!A sweet grandmothertelephoned St. Joseph 's Hospital. She timidly asked, "Is it possible to speak to someone Who can tell me how a patient is doing?"The operator said,"I'll be glad to help, dear. What's the name and room number of the patient?"The grandmother in her weak, tremulous voice said, "Norma Findlay, Room 302."The operator replied,"Let me put you on hold while I check with the nurse's station for that room."After a few minutes, the operator returned to the phone and said,"I have good news. Her nurse just told me that Norma is doing well. Her blood pressure is fine; her blood work just came back normal, and her physician, Dr. Cohen, has scheduled her to be discharged tomorrow."The grandmother said,"Thank you. That's wonderful. I was so worried. God bless you for the good news."The operator replied,"You're more than welcome. Is Norma your daughter?"The grandmother said,"No, I'm Norma Findlay in Room 302.No one tells me shit."TRUE STORY...

i took the cogiati test again (did it a few years ago on tint) and got the same score didnt think it would change but i didnt really think about it as much then as i am doing now (times do change as does the person )   so here is my result   TheCOMBINED GENDER IDENTITY AND TRANSSEXUALITY INVENTORY(COGIATI)   Your COGIATI result value is: 360 Which means that you fall within the following category: COGIATI classification FOUR, PROBABLE TRANSSEXUAL What this means is that the Combined Gender Identity And Transsexuality Inventory has classified your internal gender identity to be essentially feminine, but with some masculine or androgynous traits. It is very possible that you are a candidate for a diagnosis of transsexualism. You show a strong degree of gender dysphoria. At the very least, further investigation should be undertaken. Your COGIATI score places you among the majority of those diagnosed as transsexuals, the 'late onset' tanssexual. SUGGESTIONS FOR ACTION: Your situation is potentially serious and indicative of a probable inborn gender conflict. It is definitely recommended that you pursue further action. The suggestions for your circumstance are several. 1.    It is recommended that you seek help from a sympathetic counselor or professional about your gender issues. It is very possible that over time they will become increasingly difficult to cope with. Early determination of what you really need and want is vital. You need to determine if you truly are transsexual. Keep in mind, thought, that many alternatives exist other than complete sexual transformation. Partial transformation and many other way of existing are available. While you are very possibly a transsexual, COGIATI has determined that this is not absolutely certain. While time is an issue, being certain is more important. Proceed with investigation of your possible transsexuality or transgenderism, but with caution. 2.    Some actions may help you to define your needs more clearly. Experimenting with living full time as a woman, taking hormones for a short time under supervision, or taking testosterone suppressers to observe how you feel are all viable options. Keep in mind that while it is very likely that you might be a transsexual, it is not certain. Do not take severe or permanent actions without long thought and the help of counselors and professionals. 3.    Your gender issues are real, and should not be ignored. Neither should you rush into acting on them, however powerful they may feel. You do not fit the full criterion for the rarest classification, classic transsexuality, and so should be cautious, and open to possibilities. You may yet end up undergoing transition, and the path of the transsexual may well be your salvation. Be very careful, but do not ignore your issues. 4.    If you have not already, consider joining any of the thousands of groups devoted to gender expression of various kinds. There is literally a world of friends to discover who share your interests. There are also publications, vacations, and activities that would expand your gender expression. so now i need to have a long hard look at myself and sort out my next step   hugs xxamyxx
