Transtastic respects your privacy and shares your concern about the security of information you may submit to our website and the related mobile applications and services (collectively, the ‘Services’). Information
When you use or transact with this site, we will ask for personal information such as your name and e-mail address. We may also collect information about where you are on the Internet, such as the web site you came from, your IP address, your browser type, the country where your computer is located, the pages of the site that were viewed during your visit, and any search terms that you used.
Personal information you provide is used by us only for the following purposes:
- To improve your experience on the site
- To create a membership profile
- To notify you of events with which you are associated, which have occurred on the site (like a reply to a forum post or another member’s comment on a photo you uploaded for example).
We hate junk mail too but as you'd expect from a social network, we do send out automatic notifications to let you know when you've received a reply to a message, when another member has responded to a post or simply to wish you a happy birthday. 🎈

Cookies
Like most web sites, we use cookies to keep track of your current login and any transaction session and to personalise your experience and so that you may retrieve any shopping basket at any time. Cookies also track your profile identity and session personalisation of the website. Cookies are set to expire after 7 days. Here are a few of our fundamental privacy principles:
We do not now, never have and never will, sell or share your information with any third parties for business or marketing purposes.
We do not do email marketing - not for third parties or even for us. It’s just not something we do. So you can rest assured that you won’t receive any spam from us, asking you buy this or that. This site relies entirely upon the small income we receive from our advertising banners and also from the occasional donation. We don’t do email marketing at all.
Our software will occasionally send mail to you but not for marketing purposes. As with any social network, you will receive mail associated with the administration of your account and notifications about various events that have occurred on the site, as per your notifications settings.
You have joined a social network and part of that involves interacting with other members. Our software works hard to bring members of the community together and keeping you informed of various site events is part of that.
However, we give you several ways to control the privacy of your personal information and are continuously working to enhance the privacy options available to you.
It would be impossible to run a social network without some email interaction with our members and indeed, members should understand that receiving some email messages from us is part of what they have joined us for. The type of emails you receive however, can be controlled by you from your notifications settings page at:

Be aware that information you upload or post to Transtastic (including your profile information) may be seen by both members and non-members depending on your privacy settings.
You can decide who can see your profile, who can post on your profile and whether you appear in various search results by using the controls on your Privacy settings page at:

We do not aggregate or de-identify information about our members to use for business purposes.
Newsletter Preferences
We do not have a newsletter at the time of writing but in case we ever start one again, you can decide whether to receive it by changing your preferences on the Newsletter options page at:

Access to personal information
You can see all the information we hold on you by going to your Profile Page which is accessible via the menu in the left column of the members home page at:

Just choose the option that says ‘View My Profile’.
Your Password
We suggest that to help keep your account secure, you should change your password regularly. You can change your password at any time by going to the following page:

If you decide to leave us there are two options. You can opt for a soft cancelation by going to this page…

Using this option you will have 30 days to change your mind. If you do want to come back within that time, simply use the ‘Recover A Cancelled Profile’ option from the Login page.
If however, you absolutely do want to leave us, with no possibility of restoring your account, you can delete it completely by going to this page:

All data in your profile will be deleted and you will no longer be able to login.
