Would it be possible to upload a separate pic for profile posts from the (public) one that appears on profiles. I don't hide away in general and I don't like seeing an anonymous avatar next to my posts - it's a bit unfriendly even though I have pics in my albums for members.

Let me look into it - the privacy setting are customisable, but not sure if what you are asking for is possible.
